Legacy Machine Upgrade

One of our highlights is getting to see the creative solutions other people have come up with, especially when they were under the constraints of older technology. Many times our customers have a custom machine that, as they say, “one of our old shop guys built 30 years ago and we still use it.” We love the “old shop guys,” because when they build things, they usually last! Of course, no matter how good that machine was 30 years ago, technology changes. Quite often the majority of the components in the machine are still viable and effective, but coupled with newer technology the machine can be much more efficient, safer, precise, autonomous, or even repurposed.
